sorry this is just outdated and kind of irrelevant now. we need to look elsewhere like our skies since the governments of the word have all but admitted there are non-human craft in our airspace and have been here since recorded history. Instead look for tehcnosignatures from other stars and also in our solar system for ET ruins or artifacts. It’s a bit of cognitive dissonance but it’s okay you’re a mainstream science writer i don’t blame you for being uninterested in alternative hypotheses but unfortunately all the methods you’re suggesting are archaic and honestly futile. They have been observing us and they control what goes in and out. You can keep doing ur thing but the rest of the world is gonna leave those ideas behind as we learn how strange and wrong we were about the nature of reality.
